38 Year Old Former Intercontinental Champion Shares Conditions for WWE Return

Former WWE star Matt Cardona (previously known as Zack Ryder) shared requirements that must be met for his return to the WWE roster.

According to Cardona, WWE must successfully deliver “The two C’s”: cash and creative. He added that if WWE’s creative is not of high quality, no amount of cash could persuade him to return. Additionally, Cardona stated that Steph de Lander, with whom he has been collaborating on the independent circuit, must also be re-employed by WWE. De Lander formerly appeared in NXT as Persia Pirotta and was released in April 2022.

Cardona, who enjoyed a fifteen year career with the company before his release in April 2020, made these remarks during a recent appearance on Barstool Rasslin.
