Pramod Bhagat has emerged as a formidable force at the Brazil Para-Badminton International 2023. The ace shuttler has reached the singles final after winning a tense match against Daisuke Fujihara of Japan. The match went back and forth before Pramod staged a comeback, winning 19-21, 21-19 and 21-12 to secure his spot in the final. The Indian superstar will now face off against compatriot Kumar Nitesh in the final.

Bhagat and Kadam have also entered the men’s doubles finals at the tournament. The duo put up a commanding performance against Kumar Nitesh and Tarun, defeating them in straight sets. The final score read 21-17, 21-16 in favor of Bhagat and Kadam. They are now set to face Joo Dongjae and Shin Kyung Hwan of Korea in the final.
On the other hand, Sukant Kadam lost to Tarun in the singles semifinals in a closely fought encounter. The match lasted for 52 minutes before Tarun emerged victorious by a score of 16-21, 21-19 and 12-21.
