Shikhar Dhawan’s Incredible Catch Dismisses David Warner in IPL Match

On Wednesday, Delhi Capitals captain David Warner was dismissed by Punjab Kings skipper Shikhar Dhawan’s outstanding fielding skills during an Indian Premier League (IPL) match at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala.

In the 11th over, Warner miscued Sam Curran’s delivery in an attempt to hit it downtown. Dhawan, who was alert and quick, ran across from cover and made a perfectly timed dive to his left to grab the ball mid-air. His grip on the ball was so secure that it did not pop out even when his arms hit the ground. Warner had scored 46 runs off 31 balls, including five fours and two sixes at that point.
