Tony Khan Shares Excitement for Rick Ross’ Potential Return to AEW TV

Rick Ross had a significant role on AEW television towards the end of 2022, involving himself in the feud between Swerve Strickland and Keith Lee and siding with Swerve and the Mogul Affiliates.

AEW President, Tony Khan, expressed his enthusiasm for the potential return of Rick Ross to the show during a recent interview with Chad Hastings and Zay Collier. When asked about the prospect, Khan stated, “Rick Ross is a phenomenal talent, and it’s fantastic that he has taken an interest in AEW. He’s a wonderful person, a good friend, and we love when he shows up and gets involved. You never know when the biggest boss Rick Ross will make an appearance at AEW. It could happen anytime.”

Khan also commended AEW for bringing an element of surprise and unpredictability to viewers each week. He acknowledged that Rick Ross’s cameo was one of their greatest and expressed his desire for the rapper to appear more regularly.

Although it remains uncertain whether Rick Ross will make a comeback to AEW, Swerve Strickland’s storyline is taking an exciting new direction, as he has now teamed up with The Embassy, continuing his ongoing feud with Keith Lee.
