Some of the remarkable players, including Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, Chris Gayle, Rahul Dravid, Jacques Kallis, Anil Kumble, Zaheer Khan, Tillakaratne Dilshan, Ross Taylor and Faf du Plessis, have been a part of the RCB team and have created history in the Indian Premier League (IPL). The way the team aspires to play boldly on the field motivates young cricketers.
“To me, RCB is a franchise that every young kid looks up to and wants to be a part of. They seem to play extremely hard on the field, and it seems like the people involved have a lot of fun outside the field as well,” said Brett Lee on RCB Insider.
Brett Lee also expressed his love for the red and gold jersey of RCB and stated that like everyone else, he too would love to be a part of the franchise, which has a significant fan base globally.
“I like the color red, and I admire the beautiful gold on the logo. So, I think I could fit in with RCB really nicely,” said Brett Lee.
RCB, under the captaincy of Faf du Plessis, will be looking to register a win in their upcoming match in Hyderabad on Thursday to solidify their position in the playoffs of the current IPL season.
