Casemiro urging Neymar to join Man United, which could hinder Greenwood’s future

Manchester United is reportedly in talks to sign Brazilian superstar, Neymar, a move that has been encouraged by his fellow countryman and Real Madrid midfielder, Casemiro. However, if the deal goes through, it could prove to be bad news for Mason Greenwood, who is currently facing an uncertain future at the club following an ongoing investigation.

Greenwood will return to a highly competitive attacking lineup if he stays at United after his suspension is lifted. Neymar’s addition will only add to the challenge of securing a spot in the starting lineup.

Alternatively, if Neymar signs, United may consider Greenwood surplus to requirements, which could lead to the club parting ways with the 21-year-old amid possible backlash from fans.

With many young forwards available, letting Greenwood go might not be viewed as a significant loss for United and could avoid unnecessary PR drama.
