Indian Contingent Aims to Advance as Round of 16 Approaches at Badminton Asia Championships 2023

The Indian players competing in the ongoing Badminton Asia Championships 2023 in Dubai are eager to progress beyond the Round of 16 on April 27th, which falls on a Thursday.

A total of four Indian doubles pairs and three singles matches are scheduled for the day. On Court 2, Rohan Kapoor and Sikki Reddy will compete against Seo Seung Jae and Chae Yu Jung of South Korea in the mixed doubles category.

On the same court, experienced Indian player Srikanth Kidambi will face off against Japan’s Kodai Naraoka in a singles match.

Following the end of Kidambi’s game, PV Sindhu will take on Han Yue of China on Court 2.

In India’s final singles game of the day, HS Prannoy will compete against Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo of Indonesia on Court 4, vying for a chance to advance to the next round.

On Court 1, Treesa Jolly and Pullela Gayatri Gopichand, a promising Indian women’s pair, will face the all-female South Korean team of Jeong Na Eun and Kim Hye Jeong.
