Pep Guardiola’s team is set to play against Yokohama F Marinos and Bayern in friendly matches in Tokyo this summer. Both games will be held at Tokyo’s National Stadium, with the first one against Marinos on July 23, followed by Bayern three days later. Bayern will also play against J-League side Kawasaki Frontale on July 29.
Manchester City and Bayern Munich will add to the list of top European football clubs to play friendly matches in Japan this summer. J-League announced that these soccer giants will face Japanese champions Yokohama F Marinos in Tokyo on scheduled dates in July.
Manchester City, who are likely to retain their Premier League title, will play their first match against Marinos on July 23, followed by Bayern Munich on July 26, with both matches at Tokyo’s National Stadium. On the other hand, Bayern Munich will also play against J-League side Kawasaki Frontale on July 29.

Aside from Manchester City and Bayern Munich, Barcelona, the newly crowned Spanish champions, will also be in Japan to play against Andres Iniesta’s Vissel Kobe on June 6, soon after completing their league season in Spain. Additionally, Scottish champions Celtic will also visit Japan this summer to play against coach Ange Postecoglou’s former team, Marinos, on July 19.
