Mumbai Indians’ Cameron Green focused on winning and putting pressure on RCB in IPL 2021

Australian all-rounder Cameron Green spoke about Mumbai Indians’ approach to their recent match against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021.

According to Green, the team’s primary goal was to secure a victory and increase the pressure on RCB in the IPL standings.

Green’s comments came after Mumbai Indians defeated RCB by five wickets in a closely contested match on Friday, April 9.

The victory catapulted Mumbai Indians to second place in the league table, level on points with RCB. However, Mumbai Indians have played one match fewer than their rival team.

Green’s contribution was crucial in Mumbai Indians’ win, as he finished unbeaten on 17 runs off just 8 deliveries while chasing down a target of 160 runs. Green’s innings included a six and two fours.

Mumbai Indians’ next match is against Rajasthan Royals on Thursday, April 15, while RCB will face Kolkata Knight Riders on Sunday, April 18.
