Sareee Doesn’t Consider Her WWE NXT Stint a Failure

Sareee, a Japanese wrestler who joined WWE’s NXT brand with much hype, has returned as Sareee after her NXT run didn’t seem to pan out as expected. Although she was showcased during the 2.0 era, it just didn’t seem to resonate with fans. Nevertheless, she doesn’t see her participation with NXT as a failure.

Booking Japanese talent has been a challenge for WWE, with few exceptions. It appears that their booking doesn’t translate with the fans. Although Sareee didn’t achieve great success in NXT, she still has a promising career ahead of her.

Monthly Puroresu spoke to Sareee about her time in WWE, and she shared that although it wasn’t the most prominent experience, she doesn’t consider it a failure. She is happy that she took the opportunity and gained a lot of knowledge while in the United States. Though she wasn’t able to showcase her entire wrestling repertoire, she has no regrets about going.

Despite things not working out as planned, Sareee returned to Japan and is looking forward to the next stage of her career. At 27-years-old, she still has a lot of opportunities ahead of her.
