Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag predicts that the Gujarat Titans will rely heavily on their star spinner Rashid Khan to clinch the upcoming Qualifier 1 match of the IPL 2023 against the Chennai Super Kings, to be held at the spin-friendly Chepauk track.
According to Sehwag, Rashid Khan, who is now the most successful bowler of this season, will be the trump card for the defending champions. Gujarat Titans have been successful in breaking partnerships, thanks to Rashid’s excellent performance, he added.
The match between Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans is expected to be an evenly matched contest at Chepauk, as both teams have had similar approaches this season. Former Indian cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar is looking forward to an interesting battle between the two tactically similar teams.
