Dunkest Capital Gains: Understanding How They Work

In the world of Dunkest Fantasy Basketball, each player has a credit value associated with them that can change during the season based on their performances. This change in value is called Dunkest Capital Gain.

Why Are Capital Gains Important?

At the start of the championship, you have 95 credits (or 105 with the “MVP” package at €14.99) to buy 10 players and 1 head coach. This budget can increase thanks to capital gains. During each match day, the credit value of your players will either increase (capital gain) or decrease (loss) based on the fantasy score they obtain. Capital gains increase your purchasing power and help you replace players whose value has increased.

At the end of each match day, your team will display the Capital Gains Balance, which is the total of the capital gains obtained by your team on that day.

How Do Players’ Values Change?

The variation in the value of each player occurs at the end of each match day and it is based on two factors: the points scored and the starting value. Typically, a player with a lower starting value will obtain a greater capital gain than a player with a higher value of the same score.

Tips to Make Capital Gains

The key to obtaining capital gains is to be a true talent scout. You can do this by finding low-value players who will surprise you by obtaining the scores of top players. Other situations that can help you generate easy capital gains are injuries or substitutes. Injured players lose value for each game missed and can be purchased upon return for a much lower price. If a high-value player gets injured, he will be replaced by a moderate or low-value player, who can guarantee you good fantasy points for a moderate price.
