On Thursday, in Shymkent, Kazakhstan, India achieved a 2-0 win against Vietnam in the Asia-Oceania Junior Billie Jean King Cup under-16 girls tennis tournament play-off match. In the next match for the nine to 12th places, India will compete with New Zealand.
Additionally, Kazakhstan, Australia, Korea and Japan advanced to the semi-finals after defeating Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, Uzbekistan, and Thailand, respectively.
