Rob Van Dam Claims Paul Heyman Owed Him Nearly $150,000

During an interview with the Ten Count podcast, former ECW star and WWE Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam revealed that Paul Heyman owed him approximately $150,000 just before ECW folded. Throughout Heyman’s operation of ECW from 1993-2001, he gained a reputation for failing to pay his wrestlers.

Van Dam characterized the amount owed to him as “a very loose number” and noted that Heyman was paying him, but not additional bonuses that had been promised beyond his salary. The wrestler did not specify if Heyman had later paid him or whether the debt had been settled in any way. However, there is no indication that the two have any current issues with each other.
