On Friday, Rubani Kaur Sidhu, the top seed, won the Girls’ under-16 category match against Vanshika Yadav with a flawless 6-0, 6-0 performance. The AITA Championship series junior tennis tournament took place at the CLTA Stadium in Chandigarh where the title-winning match was held.
The final scores were as follows:
Boys: U-18: Aashravya Mehra outperformed Amtya Ohlyan 4-0 (conceded); U-16: Sukukh Marya beat Devansh Parajuli 6-7(2), 6-2, 6-1.
Girls: U-18: Vanya Arora defeated Bhumi Kakkar 6-1, 6-2; U-16: Rubani Kaur Sidhu won against Vanshika Yadav with a score of 6-0, 6-0.
